We chose a single global chain model to maximize network effects and simplicity, but we modularized compliance and data handling to meet diverse regulatory needs on that unified network. We use proven technologies built on Arbitrum Orbit (Nitro): a high-throughput L3 ordered by a chain-opt-in sequencer, with permissionless fraud proofs (BoLD) anchoring security to Ethereum and data availability provided via AnyTrust to push the envelope with features like on-chain attested data and zero-knowledge selective disclosure.
